LEADS WITH LABEL DEBUT “SHOOT ME DOWN,” OUT NOW
ON TOUR WITH TY MYERS

NASHVILLE, TENN. / AUSTIN, TEXAS – Announced today, soul-country singer-songwriter Alex Lamberthas joined buzzed-about imprint Big Loud Texas. Lambert’s first offering is one of intent and identity with “Shoot Me Down,” out now.
“It’s literally been a perfect fit signing with Big Loud Texas,” shares Alex. “With Miranda Lambert and Jon Randall leading the Texas imprint, it makes for a true artist-first team. It’s been an absolute dream come true to have my vision as an artist brought to life by this incredible record label and to represent my home state of Texas.”
“We are so excited to have Alex Lambert in the Big Loud Texas family,” Big Loud Texas co-founder Jon Randall shares. “His talent and passion are extraordinary, and we are honored to be a part of his musical journey. We cannot wait for the rest of the world to hear what he’s been working on.”
Discovered by Big Loud Texas by way of co-founder and superstar Miranda Lambert, Alex grew up outside of Fort Worth, Texas and started playing guitar as young as eight – learning from his grandfather who was a singer, songwriter and producer himself. Alex was raised on the records his family played at home. From Journey and Michael Jackson to Willie Nelson, their sounds built a foundational musical landscape that grew into a love for soul music in his late teens when he discovered the records of Sam Cooke, Bill Withers and D’Angelo.
Citing greatest influences, Lambert considers John Legend, Amos Lee, Kacey Musgraves and Leon Bridges. Taking his rich sound and new music on the road, Alex joins Ty Myers on tour starting the end of the month through May. For more information or tickets, please visit alex-lambert.com.
