Founded in 2023 by Miranda Lambert and Jon Randall in partnership with Big Loud Records, Big Loud Texas is a Texas-rooted imprint and publishing powerhouse built to discover, develop, and champion Texas musicians and songwriters on a global stage. With Lambert and Randall deeply involved in every signing and creative decision — and Randall serving as President of A&R — the venture expands Big Loud’s culture-shaping success into the rich, influential world of Texas music.
From its home base in Austin, the label is led by Vice President Brendon Anthony, an Austin-based industry veteran and former Director of the Texas Music Office. Anthony oversees all Texas operations and works hand in hand with Lambert, Randall, the Big Loud Records' leadership team and Nashville-powered shared label services. His background spans statewide music policy, major industry partnerships and years on the road as a touring and recording musician. The all-star team outfitted with dynamic, tailored resources bridges Texas and Nashville, positioning Big Loud Texas as a true home for artists rooted in authenticity.
In 2024, the company expanded its vision with the launch of Big Loud Texas Publishing, hiring Texas native Lizzy Rector as Publishing Director and signing its inaugural writer, multi-instrumentalist Timothy Allen. Rector joins the team after a successful tenure at Big Machine Music Publishing, bringing experience across more than 50 chart-topping songs and a mission to strengthen creative ties between Austin and Nashville.
Big Loud Texas continues to grow a dynamic roster that embodies the state’s creative identity. Early signings include breakout singer-songwriter Dylan Gossett (in partnership with Mercury Records), traditional country standout Jake Worthington, Austin-based rock-influenced country band The Droptines, and country provocateur Coleman Jennings, Across genres encompassing outlaw country, folk, Americana, and rock-driven Texas sounds, these artists reflect the imprint’s commitment to nurturing voices with depth, grit, and originality.
Created out of reverence for the culture and legacy of Texas music, Big Loud Texas is building a future where Texas artists, writers, and stories thrive on an international level. With more signings and releases on the horizon, the imprint and publishing company continue to expand their footprint while staying true to the soul of the Lone Star State.

Born and raised in Lindale and having cut her teeth in the Texas honky tonk circuit, Miranda Lambert is a Texan through and through. From her independent debut, recorded in a garage studio in Garland, North Texas, to her stripped-back The Marfa Tapes recorded under the West Texas stars with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall, to her most recent critically acclaimed album, Postcards from Texas, recorded at Austin’s famed Arlyn Studios, Lambert has always made a point to showcase her Lone Star roots. Now, two decades into defining her multifaceted career as an artist, entertainer, entrepreneur, advocate and businesswoman with an unflinching quest for excellence, honesty and conviction, she seeks to shine an even brighter spotlight on the state that made her as cofounder of Big Loud Texas. Joining forces with longtime friend and creative ally Randall, she is directly involved in signing and developing artists on the roster, with a particular eye towards elevating voices from her home state.
“As a teenager chasing my dreams in the honky tonks of Texas, Nashville seemed so far away,” she reflects. “Every time I’m back home I get to hear the incredible talent our state produces, and I feel a responsibility to help get more of those Texas voices heard. I’m really excited to team up with my buddy Jon Randall and Big Loud to do just that. Get ready, y’all – we’re bringing even more Texas to town!”
The most-awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history, including their top honor for Entertainer of the Year, she has also won three GRAMMYs and 14 Country Music Association Awards, is a TIME100 honoree and perennial best-of-the-year list maker, and NPR has called her “the most riveting country star of her generation.” A multi-dimensional superstar, she’s earned seven No. 1 solo albums, 10 No. 1 hit radio singles, more than 80 prestigious awards and countless RIAA certifications. She’s taken those standards to become a New York Times bestselling author and the first female restaurateur on Lower Broadway with her Tex-Mex cantina Casa Rosa, while also expanding her creative reach with her Wanda June Home collection exclusive to Walmart and her Idyllwind clothing and boot line at Boot Barn. Her passion for rescue animals inspired the creation of her MuttNation Foundation, which has raised over $10 million since inception to promote adoption, support shelters across the country, advance spay & neuter and assist with the transport of animals during times of natural disaster.
