SOLO PENNED BY JENNINGS; PRODUCED BY DAVE COBB
RIDE ON EP OUT NOW
SUPPORTING DWIGHT YOAKAM ON TOUR

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Today country provocateur Coleman Jennings releases new song “Flyin’,” a testament to his “carving out a lane that reveres tradition while remaining unafraid to blur its edges” (Country Central). Produced by GRAMMY® winning music vet Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson), the new song follows last month’s release of his debut label EP, Ride On, via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records.
Solo-penned, like most of his work, “Flyin’” taps the hard twang of a Buck Owens classic for a tune inspired by endless drives on the open plain. Jennings sings:
I need to fly on home
I need to get to where I’m goin’ Lord
Skip the journey just take me there
I need to get livin’ again
I need to find ya for my own
So I can get to gettin,
Right on back home
Recent EP Ride On features previously released “Head Spinning” and the ’70s-style harmony rich “Jamie” named one of Holler‘s “Best New Country Songs.” Much of the material was captured in a stream of creative consciousness on the spot in Cobb’s studio in Savannah, GA. With all the elements of a modern-day troubadour, Jennings explores Western, folk, honky tonk, outlaw and Americana, while also tapping old time and bluegrass.
Tonight, Jennings will take the stage in Fayetteville, GA to support Dwight Yoakam. In addition, he will be playing headlining shows and festivals now through April. For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit https://coleman-jennings.com/.
