For multi-instrumental singer-songwriter and producer Timothy Allen, music is in his blood. Growing up in Rockwall, Texas, just east of Dallas, the immediate branches of his family tree – grandparents, parents and older brothers – all played instruments. Timothy picked up guitar as young as ten, songwriting at 13 and began playing local gigs around the same time; all the while gaining a musical education in his parents’ car on the way to and from school scanning between a local classical music station and classic rock hits. After a stint with Shane Smith and The Saints, Timothy caught the eye of Big Loud Texas President of A&R Jon Randall while on stage at Texas Music Revolution festival touring his solo project. Rooted in community developed over years of songwriting, with influences like John Moreland, Sufjan Stevens, and his brothers, Timothy resides outside of Dallas in Royse City and recently inked a publishing deal with Big Loud Texas Publishing.
