SPACE HOUSED IN HISTORIC HOME WITH INTERIOR DESIGN BY BIG LOUD TEXAS CO-FOUNDER MIRANDA LAMBERT’S LONGTIME COLLABORATORS JG CO.
AUSTIN, TEXAS – Fresh off the announcement of buzzed-about joint venture Big Loud Texas’ expansion to include a publishing arm, Big Loud Texas Publishing, today the growing venture announces the completion of its hub curated to foster creative community in Austin. The Big Loud Texas House is a multi-functional space housed in a historic home built in the late 1800s with interior design by Big Loud Texas co-founder Miranda Lambert’s longtime collaborators Amie and Jolie Sikes from Junk Gypsy Co. (JG Co.).
When it was time to design the perfect space to house not only Big Loud Texas’ daily operations, but also a creative space for songwriters dually equipped to host industry gatherings, Lambert tapped the JG Co. sisters. The fellow Texans and close friends of Lambert have a long history of collaboration – including designing her iconic “Mama Tried” tank top featured in Lambert’s official music video for 2005 smash “Kerosene” and partnering with her on numerous design projects over the years, including redecorating her beloved Airstream, Wanda the Wanderer.
Alongside the Big Loud Texas team, Lambert wanted the space to feel welcoming, bold and uniquely Texan—qualities Jolie and Amie embody effortlessly with their free-spirited, creative style and signature Texan attitude. With help from the pair, the Big Loud Texas House is a creative space for writers and industry alike that includes an unforgettable welcome space, “Rose Garden” bar and writers’ room – in addition to Big Loud Texas offices, all fashioned with pieces from local vintage dealers.
