NASHVILLE, TENN. / AUSTIN, TEXAS – Today, Big Loud Texas singer-songwriter Julianna Rankindelivers clever new song “XYZ71s.” Produced by Big Loud Texas co-founders Miranda Lambert and Jon Randall, listen here.

“’XYZ71s’ is a really special one to me,” shares Rankin. “It’s brilliantly written, undeniably catchy and the kind of song that gets under your skin, but in the best way. I haven’t stopped singing it since the day it found its way to me. As my first outside cut, I chose this song because I felt a deep and immediate connection to it, as if it had been sitting in my bones long before it ever found me. I’m so grateful to Jon, Chase, Micah and John for trusting me to bring it to life. I think it’s a song folks will see themselves in and won’t be able to help but sing along to.”

Rankin’s smoky vocals shine on the new track, adding to the powerhouse talent’s growing catalog.

“XYZ71s” was written by Jon Decious, Chase McGill, John Pierce and Micah Wilshire. A witty play on words about a Chevy Z71 truck, Rankin doubts her love interest is equipped for the job:

XYZ71s
Come with a rearview
Ask my XYZ71s
Ain’t how he rolls, no more
He’ll tell you
Memory lane is the only dang place
It’ll steer to
Ask my XYZ71
Get sold
Get sold

Preceding today’s release, Rankin dropped “Little Miss Behavin’,” with an official music video starring Gretchen Wilson. Additionally, her label debut with Big Loud Texas, “Bad Habits and Good Horses,” was featured in the season finale of Landman via Paramount+.

Tomorrow, Rankin will support Band of Heathens at Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, Texas. Later this month, she will play BMI’s Rooftop On The Row series in Nashville alongside Avery Anna and Tyler Haverson, as well as headline Whitehorse Saloon in Austin. With additional supporting dates through the summer, stay up to date with Julianna Rankin here.

NASHVILLE, TENN. / AUSTIN, TEXAS – Today, multi-Platinum singer, songwriter and producer Dylan Gossett returns with a brand new, deeply personal track celebrating the birth of his son, “My Boy” via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records—listenhere.

Gossett took to Instagram last night to share, “This is an important and personal time in my life and I wanted to share a glimpse of it with y’all.”See the announcement here.

On the tender song dedicated to his growing family, Gossett speaks from the heart and confesses: If you were to ask me how I felt, I’d say I’m still a kid myself. That I’m learning right and wrong and nothing else, but I’m thankful to the Lord, that I know what I’m here for. When it comes to lovin’ you, of that I’m sure. My boy.

To celebrate the release, Gossett will support fellow Texan George Strait at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, TX tonight. Later this summer, Gossett will hit the road with Mumford & Sons on select stadium dates across North America, then he’ll headline a string of U.K. dates. Today, Gossett also announced he’ll be supporting The Red Clay Strays later this summer on the band’s North American tour.

Last year, Gossett released his self-written and produced debut album Westward to critical acclaim. He followed the album with Westward (Deluxe) which included three new tracks—fan favorite track “Windy City” and collaborations with rising Canadian country singer-songwriter Noeline Hofmann on “American Trail” and Kentucky country band Ole 60 on “Back 40.” Listen here.

Over the past few years, Dylan Gossett has emerged as one of the biggest and brightest new stars in country music. With nearly 1.5 billion streams across his catalog to date, his breakout single “Coal” recently picked up a 2x Platinum Certification in the United States, in addition to going Gold in the U.K., Platinum in Australia, 2x Platinum in Canada, and 2x Platinum in Ireland. The song marked his first entry on the Spotify U.S. Top 200 Chart, Billboard Hot 100 Chart and U.K. Official Singles Chart Top 100. Not to mention, it broke into the Top 25 of the Billboard Country Digital Songs Chart and Top 5 of the Spotify Viral 50 U.S. and Global Charts. In addition, his single “Beneath Oak Trees” recently became RIAA Gold certified. It’s no wonder major players such as Spotify and Amazon pegged him as an “Artist To Watch” in 2024, while MusicRow named him among its “Next Big Thing Class of 2025 Artists.” Cementing himself as a global touring force, Gossett sold over 200,000 tickets worldwide to date. Stay tuned for more to come from Dylan Gossett in 2026.

NASHVILLE, TENN. / AUSTIN, TEXAS – In a musical landscape peppered with overnight sensations and viral moments, The Droptines stand out. Their gritty new album Drought Flower is out today. The 11-track record marks the band’s full-length debut via Big Loud Texas and is the follow-up to their 2024 self-titled debut album.

The close-knit band of five honed their chops in the Texas Hill Country, building a following fan-by-fan since their formation in 2019. More than anything, Drought Flower is a snapshot in time for a group of friends figuring out life and music as they go along. A culmination of their alt trajectory leading to some of music’s most revered stages, The Droptines made their Opry debut last week. Stepping into the hallowed circle, the outfit performed “Snowed In” and “Tombstone” from the new album.

Recorded at storied Aryln Studios with production by GRAMMY® Award winner Jon Randall, Jacob Sciba and Taylor Tatsch, nine of the album’s tracks were solo written by frontman Conner Arthur. On Drought Flower, The Droptines are pursuing timelessness, while acknowledging people in their lives who enabled such a pursuit. “A Town Near You (Feat. Zandi Holup)” explores detachment from a relationship because you can’t stay in one place for too long, “Well I’m gone like a wildflower, I move on from town to town.” “Mamaw” finds them mourning the loss of a family member (with Sarah Jarosz lending her voice). The title track laments a social encounter with a strong and independent woman. “Snowed In” is a fast-paced love song for a significant other that gets straight to the point.

If the album sounds like a gesture of thanks to the significant others, sisters, mothers, grandmothers and just about every other female figure in The Droptines’ lives, Arthur says that’s by design. The album is about growth, but it’s also about honoring the people who enabled it throughout the band.

“Maturity is reflected [on Drought Flower], for sure, and intentionality,” shares Arthur. “I think the overarching theme of it is an appreciation for the women in our lives and the matriarchy that raised most of us. There are some songs about lost friends and loved ones — there still is the element of laughing to keep from crying and that dark humor — but I think a lot of it is just kind of a love letter.”

Tonight, The Droptines take the stage in Austin for their album release show. Starting next week, the band will hit the road in their repurposed silver school bus-turned-tour bus for their headlining Drought Flower Tourwhich takes the band throughout the Lone Star State and includes stops in Lexington, Ky., Washington, D.C., New York City and more. The tour follows dates sharing the stage with Whiskey Myers and Dwight Yoakam.
NASHVILLE, TENN. – On the heels of several striking single releases, today country provocateur Coleman Jennings announces his forthcoming debut album Lead You Home out via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records. The new collection, produced by GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson), is set for May 8 and includes the playful “Good While It Lasted,” out today.

Featuring 10 riveting country-folk tracks – all written solo (save for one tip of the cap to outside influence) – Lead You Home exudes originality; an exercise in artistic abandon, and in-the-moment inspiration. Captured in a stream of creative consciousness, nearly half of the set’s songs were at least partially penned on the spot in Cobb’s Savannah, Georgia studio, taking Cobb’s well-documented affinity for live recording to its ultimate end. Jennings would rarely have a full song to start with – often just a fragment, or a guitar riff he liked. But with Cobb at the controls and a tight band of like-minded creative outlaws, they would finish it by feel and record it then and there. The process both speaks to Jennings’ musical ethos and captures the country-folk spirit like nothing else.

“Sometimes you feel as if you don’t write the songs – it’s more like they’re being gifted to you because you’ve been open enough to receive them,” Jennings proclaims. On creating the album, he shares, “a lot of it genuinely feels like being a conduit for the universe, for God, and trying not to care. It was extremely improvisational and, in the moment, like ‘Let’s just have fun.’”

The album features previously released “Flyin’,” a testament to Jennings “carving out a lane that reveres tradition while remaining unafraid to blur its edges” (Country Central). It also includes his first label release “Head Spinning” and the ’70s-style harmony rich “Jamie” named one of Holler‘s “Best New Country Songs.”

In today’s new song “Good While It Lasted,” Jennings toasts to a love that burned hot but faded fast:

It was good while it lasted
Guess I’ll be seein’ ya never
Goodbye to heartaches and laughter
Hello to the world
Cause it was good while we had each other
I’m a little glad that it’s up and over

Coleman will hit the road mid-April supporting Benjamin Tod and The Incline Six, making stops in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Arizona. In July, he will support Charles Wesley Godwin on The Christian Name Tourfor select dates.
NASHVILLE, TENN. / AUSTIN, TEXAS – Living wildly between the lines of Americana and rock and roll, gritty Big Loud Texas band The Droptines today announce the release of their full-length label debut Drought Flower set for April 3 alongside their Drought Flower Tour kicking off in Austin this April. The forthcoming album is available for pre-add and pre-save, as well as vinyl pre-order now.

“Our album Drought Flower is the culmination of a lot of hard work from the guys and me,” shares frontman Conner Arthur. “It will be our first big release since being signed to Big Loud Texas and we’re all very excited that this project will be our first pressed into vinyl.”

The 11-track project features ethereal singer-songwriter Zandi Holup (“A Town Near You”) and accomplished artist Sarah Jarosz (“Mamaw”). Each song was solo written by frontman Conner Arthur, except for a cover of Mike McClure Band’s “Calling All Cars” and The Magnetic Fields’ “Grand Canyon.” Honoring their Texas roots, Drought Flower was recorded at Aryln Studios with trusted collaborators GRAMMY® Award winners Jon Randall, Jacob Sciba and Taylor Tatsch.

The album features previously released “Take Too Much,” that Billboard characterized as “a primal fusion of country, Americana, blues and rock,” fan favorite “Snowed In,” and “Tombstone” that Holler and Whiskey Rifflauded as a song to know.

Taking their rollicking sound and irreverent lyrics on tour across the country in their repurposed silver school bus-turned-tour bus further cements their beatnik-like lifestyle and ethos. True road warriors, the Drought Flower Tour takes the band throughout the Lone Star State and includes stops in Lexington, Ky., Washington, D.C., New York City and more. The tour follows dates sharing the stage with Whiskey Myers and Dwight Yoakam.

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Today country provocateur Coleman Jennings releases new song “Flyin’,” a testament to his “carving out a lane that reveres tradition while remaining unafraid to blur its edges” (Country Central). Produced by GRAMMY® winning music vet Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson), the new song follows last month’s release of his debut label EP, Ride On, via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records.

Solo-penned, like most of his work, “Flyin’” taps the hard twang of a Buck Owens classic for a tune inspired by endless drives on the open plain. Jennings sings:

I need to fly on home
I need to get to where I’m goin’ Lord
Skip the journey just take me there
I need to get livin’ again
I need to find ya for my own
So I can get to gettin,
Right on back home

Recent EP Ride On features previously released “Head Spinning” and the ’70s-style harmony rich “Jamie” named one of Holler‘s “Best New Country Songs.” Much of the material was captured in a stream of creative consciousness on the spot in Cobb’s studio in Savannah, GA. With all the elements of a modern-day troubadour, Jennings explores Western, folk, honky tonk, outlaw and Americana, while also tapping old time and bluegrass.

Tonight, Jennings will take the stage in Fayetteville, GA to support Dwight Yoakam. In addition, he will be playing headlining shows and festivals now through April. For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit https://coleman-jennings.com/.
