NASHVILLE, TENN. / AUSTIN, TEXAS – Today, Big Loud Texas proudly announces the signing of GRAMMY® nominated artist-writer Waylon Payne. In tandem, Payne announces his forthcoming album Wayward set for July 17. A song decades in the making, “Weed By The Wall” is out today.

“This album is very special to me and ‘Weed by the Wall’ is probably one of my favorite moments as a writer,” shares Payne. “I’m incredibly proud to have partnered with Big Loud Texas to release this collection of songs and I sure hope folks enjoy it.”

“I first heard Waylon Payne’s music in 2004, with his very first album,” Lambert adds. “Called The Drifter, I’ll never forget the feelings it gave me. The honesty in his songwriting was genuinely something I’d never experienced, as well as the emotion coming across in his vocals; it made me hang on every word.

“Everything he has ever made inspired me – and so many artists that I know and love. It’s pure truth, and where can you find that? Wayward, which I can’t believe we get to release on Big Loud Texas, defines what I hope this label can be. Nothing short of brilliant, the truths and stories match these perfect melodies that make you feel every emotion.”

A 13-song collection produced by Frank Liddell (Lee Ann Womack, Miranda Lambert) and Eric Masse (Parker McCollum), half of Wayward was notably solo written. The new masterful body of work follows his timeless debut The Drifter (2003) and Blue Eyes, The Harlot, The Queer, The Pusher & Me (2020), which were both met with widespread acclaim. A brilliant showcase of the razor-sharp lyrical prowess that defines his artistry, Wayward is vulnerable, honest and beaming with wisdom.

The album features recently released “Holding On To Lonely” that Billboard noted as, “vulnerable” and “introspective,” and MusicRow praised, “his voice is marvelously aching.” Payne’s “Looking For A Feeling,” penned alongside Pam Tillis and named one of the “Best New Country Songs” by Holler, kicks off Wayward.

Payne’s intricate lyricism is weaved throughout today’s “Weed By The Wall”:

I am a freight train
Forged out of steel
I am a highway rolling west in the morning
My hands on the wheel
I am a full-grown man
I stand alone
And I sacrifice nothing for the sake of the cause
I am god and nature
I am a weed by the wall

This summer, Waylon will support Willie Nelson on his 2026 Outlaw Music Festival Tour and beyond with stops in Texas, California, New York and more. To stay up to date, connect with Waylon on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

NASHVILLE, TENN. / AUSTIN, TEXAS – Today, Big Loud Texas singer-songwriter Julianna Rankinshowcases her standout vocals on “Dusty Boots,” out now. Called “The Lone Star rising star” by Cowboys & Indians, Rankin continues to chart her musical path with smoldering new songs like recent “Little Miss Behavin’,” with an unforgettable official music video starring Gretchen Wilson.

“’Dusty Boots’ is one of those songs I’ve been anxiously waiting for people to hear,” shares Rankin. “It captures so much of where I come from — not only my Texas roots, but the music and moments that made me fall in love with country music in the first place. It’s a two-stepper that transports me to all my favorite places: dancing under a painted sunset, a night at Gruene Hall and the kind of memories you wish you could live twice. I hope it does the same for everyone who listens.”

Rankin wrote “Dusty Boots” alongside Jon Decious, Steph Jones, Josh Kear and Aaron Raitiere. In this steel-soaked honky-tonk song, Rankin sings:

Dusty boots and barroom floors
Red dirt roots, four-by-fours
Truck stops and diesel, Willie and Waylon
Cornbread and cast iron
If you know what I’m sayin’
Honky-tonks and heavy pours
So crank up the band, and then crank it some more
Let’s get to dancing, ’cause that’s what they made ’em for

About her most recent release, “XYZ71s,” All Country News praised Rankin’s artistry, “she’s driving her own story, and she’s not checking the rearview for permission.” Kicking things off with a bang, her label debut “Bad Habits and Good Horses” was featured in the season finale of Landman via Paramount+ earlier this year.

This summer, Rankin will support Casey Donahew, Neal McCoy and Mark Chesnutt on select dates. In September, Julianna will play at Everybody’s Somebody Festival with headliners Hayes Carll & The Band of Heathens.
RECENTLY ANNOUNCED 2026 CO-HEADLINE TOUR WITH CHARLES WESLEY GODWIN ON SALE NOW

NASHVILLE, TENN. / AUSTIN, TEXAS – Multi-Platinum singer, songwriter and producer Dylan Gossettunveils his brand new single, “Honeysuckle,” out today via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records—listen here.
While Gossett’s 2025 debut album, Westward, chronicled his whirlwind experience becoming one of Texas Country’s most compelling new voices and navigating a rapidly changing life while on the road, “Honeysuckle” finds the Austin native returning to his roots and reflecting on home, love and the relationships that matter most.

Following the breakout success of his critically acclaimed debut LP, “Honeysuckle” signals a more personal and intimate direction in his songwriting. Written on the tour bus following his monumental 2025 Stagecoach debut, “Honeysuckle” began as an escape from the California desert and evolved into one of Gossett’s most distinctly Texas songs to date. With vivid lines referencing the stunning sunsets he regularly sees on his property in Wimberley, Texas, “Honeysuckle” was written as a love song to his wife, as he sings, “Love the way that you talk / Southern sweet, Texas drawl / Takes me home.”

Earlier this spring, Gossett dropped his deeply personal track, “My Boy,” celebrating the birth of his first child and dedicating it to his growing family.

Beginning this weekend, Gossett will embark on select stadium dates with Mumford & Sons across North America. Following this run, he’ll then support The Red Clay Strays later this summer before co-headlining a U.S. tour with Charles Wesley Godwin in the fall, which promises to bring two standout voices in modern country and Americana together. Not to mention, on the international front, Gossett will headline shows in the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand throughout the year. See the full list of upcoming tour dates here and below.

Over the past few years, Dylan Gossett has emerged as one of the biggest and brightest new stars in country music. With nearly 1.5 billion streams across his catalog to date, his breakout single “Coal” recently picked up a 2x Platinum certification in the United States, in addition to going Gold in the U.K., Platinum in Australia, 2x-Platinum in Canada, and 2x-Platinum in Ireland. The song marked his first entry on the Spotify U.S. Top 200 Chart, Billboard Hot 100 Chart, and U.K. Official Singles Chart Top 100. Not to mention, it broke into the Top 25 of the Billboard Country Digital Songs Chart and Top 5 of the Spotify Viral 50 U.S. and Global Charts. In addition, his single “Beneath Oak Trees” recently became RIAA Gold Certified. It’s no wonder major players such as Spotify and Amazon pegged him as an “Artist To Watch” in 2024, while MusicRow named him among its “Next Big Thing Class of 2025 Artists.” Cementing himself as a global touring force, Gossett sold over 200,000 tickets worldwide to date. Stay tuned for more to come from Dylan Gossett in 2026.

ON THE ROAD WITH BILLY CURRINGTON & KIP MOORE LATER THIS YEAR

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Today Big Loud Texas singer-songwriter Alex Lambert delivers “Lay Down In A Pickup,” a spellbinding reverie. The soul country force offers an ingenious take on a classic country trope, swapping the standard backroads setting for a romantic desert getaway. Watch Lambert’s visualizer for “Lay Down In A Pickup” here.

Co-produced by Big Loud Texas Co-Founder Jon Randall, “Lay Down In A Pickup” emerged from a writing session with legendary songwriter Rivers Rutherford (Jamey Johnson, The Highwaymen). “Rivers had that title, and I got him on board with turning it into something with the cowboy-soul vibe I was going for,” says Lambert. “It’s still a pickup song, but we’re painting with the colors of South Texas and Baja California and all those desert places I felt inspired by.”

Offering a fresh take on the trope, Lambert sings:

When you lay down in a pickup
Underneath the desert sky
With a poncho for a blanket
And a skin of Spanish wine
And you see how small we are
And how the stars were meant to shine
And living don’t hurt so much
When you lay down in a pickup

With a sound unlike any other in modern music, Lambert’s most recent releases are a gorgeous convergence of country, soul and timeless R&B. Announcing his signing with Big Loud Texas in January, Lambert released “Shoot Me Down,” one of Holler‘s “Best New Country Songs.” Since, he’s released “Rules of Attraction,” a song about undeniable chemistry, and “You Make Sense To Me” which serves as a statement of artistic intent.

Lambert is currently embarking on headlining dates – including performing at New York City’s Mercury Lounge earlier this week. Next week, he’ll return to Music City for a billing at CMA Fest on Saturday (6/6) at Good Molecules Reverb Stage before heading out with Billy Currington and Kip Moore later this year.

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Today, country provocateur Coleman Jennings raises his distinctive voice for all to hear on his debut record Lead You Home. A collection of 10 riveting country-folk songs – all solo-written and produced by lauded GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Dave Cobb – the stark, striking effort is an exercise in artistic abandon. Out now via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records, listen to Lead You Home here.

“This album was made with spontaneity and improvisation, and I hope that its rawness points toward the truths that it stands for,” Jennings shares. “I believe that the best art is simple and real. A huge thank you to Big Loud Texas/Mercury, and Dave Cobb for helping bring this vision to life.”

About the unique talent, Cobb declares, “Coleman is the true voice of the west.” Captured in a stream of creative consciousness, nearly half of the album’s songs were at least partially penned on the spot in Cobb’s Savannah, Georgia studio, taking his well-documented affinity for live recording to its ultimate end. Jennings would rarely have a full song to start with – often just a fragment, or a guitar riff he liked. But with Cobb at the controls and a tight band of like-minded creative outlaws, they would finish it by feel and record it then and there. The process speaks to Jennings’ musical ethos and captures the country-folk spirit like nothing else.

The album features previously released “Good While It Lasted,” called “a lively melody and humorous charm to heartbreak” by Billboard, and “Flyin’,” a testament to Jennings “carving out a lane that reveres tradition while remaining unafraid to blur its edges” (Country Central). It also includes his first label release, “Head Spinning,” and the ’70s-style, harmony-rich “Jamie,” named one of Holler‘s “Best New Country Songs.”

The album concludes with “I Will Lead You Home,” a gentle ballad about seeking purpose and a personal journey to find God. Jennings put off finishing the song for years, but in Cobb’s studio, he realized the time had finally come. Giving himself over to the moment, the result was one of the standout tracks on the album.

Jennings will co-headline Central Machine Works with gritty alt-Americana band The Droptines next Friday, May 15, in Austin to celebrate the release of Lead You Home. Later this month, he will support Robert Earl Keen on the Then And Now Tour. Stay up to date with Coleman Jennings here.

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Today, acclaimed singer-songwriters Dylan Gossett and Charles Wesley Godwinannounce their 2026 co-headline U.S. tour, bringing two standout voices in modern country and Americana together for a run of highly-anticipated dates this fall. The co-headline tour promises to deliver unforgettable shows spotlighting two of the genres’ most compelling songwriters and in-demand live performers.

Kicking off August 28 in Lubbock, Texas, the co-headline tour will make stops across North America through October, including in New Braunfels, Nashville, New York City, Raleigh and Asheville. Tickets will be available via artist presale on Thursday, May 7 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by public on-sale on Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m. local time. Max Alan will join the tour as support. See the full list of tour dates below.

Austin, Texas native Dylan Gossett continues to build momentum in 2026 with the recent release of his deeply personal new single “My Boy,” a heartfelt tribute dedicated to his growing family that further showcases his signature storytelling, which Billboard described as “a beautiful message to his son.” The track arrives amid a busy touring schedule, including a recent appearance supporting fellow Texan George Strait in Lubbock, as well as upcoming summer tour dates with Mumford & Sons and The Red Clay Strays. Fresh off the success of his critically acclaimed debut album Westward, Gossett remains one of country music’s fastest-rising artists, drawing fans worldwide with his vulnerable lyricism and powerful live performances. See Gossett’s full upcoming tour dates here.

West Virginia native Charles Wesley Godwin is getting ready for a big year in 2026. During his explosive Stagecoach set last month, Godwin announced that his new song “Better That Way”will feature country superstar Luke Combs and be released on May 15 via Big Loud Records. “Better That Way” will impact country radio immediately following its release. In addition to the new song announcement, Godwin teased a new album from the stage. Last week, Godwin was also announced as an opener on Kacey Musgraves Middle of Nowhere tour.
NASHVILLE, TENN. / AUSTIN, TEXAS – Today, Big Loud Texas singer-songwriter Julianna Rankindelivers clever new song “XYZ71s.” Produced by Big Loud Texas co-founders Miranda Lambert and Jon Randall, listen here.

“’XYZ71s’ is a really special one to me,” shares Rankin. “It’s brilliantly written, undeniably catchy and the kind of song that gets under your skin, but in the best way. I haven’t stopped singing it since the day it found its way to me. As my first outside cut, I chose this song because I felt a deep and immediate connection to it, as if it had been sitting in my bones long before it ever found me. I’m so grateful to Jon, Chase, Micah and John for trusting me to bring it to life. I think it’s a song folks will see themselves in and won’t be able to help but sing along to.”

Rankin’s smoky vocals shine on the new track, adding to the powerhouse talent’s growing catalog.

“XYZ71s” was written by Jon Decious, Chase McGill, John Pierce and Micah Wilshire. A witty play on words about a Chevy Z71 truck, Rankin doubts her love interest is equipped for the job:

XYZ71s
Come with a rearview
Ask my XYZ71s
Ain’t how he rolls, no more
He’ll tell you
Memory lane is the only dang place
It’ll steer to
Ask my XYZ71
Get sold
Get sold

Preceding today’s release, Rankin dropped “Little Miss Behavin’,” with an official music video starring Gretchen Wilson.
Tomorrow, Rankin will support Band of Heathens at Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, Texas. Later this month, she will play BMI’s Rooftop On The Row series in Nashville alongside Avery Anna and Tyler Haverson, as well as headline Whitehorse Saloon in Austin.
NASHVILLE, TENN. / AUSTIN, TEXAS – Today, multi-Platinum singer, songwriter and producer Dylan Gossett returns with a brand new, deeply personal track celebrating the birth of his son, “My Boy” via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records—listenhere.

Gossett took to Instagram last night to share, “This is an important and personal time in my life and I wanted to share a glimpse of it with y’all.”See the announcement here.

On the tender song dedicated to his growing family, Gossett speaks from the heart and confesses: If you were to ask me how I felt, I’d say I’m still a kid myself. That I’m learning right and wrong and nothing else, but I’m thankful to the Lord, that I know what I’m here for. When it comes to lovin’ you, of that I’m sure. My boy.

To celebrate the release, Gossett will support fellow Texan George Strait at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, TX tonight. Later this summer, Gossett will hit the road with Mumford & Sons on select stadium dates across North America, then he’ll headline a string of U.K. dates. Today, Gossett also announced he’ll be supporting The Red Clay Strays later this summer on the band’s North American tour.

Last year, Gossett released his self-written and produced debut album Westward to critical acclaim. He followed the album with Westward (Deluxe) which included three new tracks—fan favorite track “Windy City” and collaborations with rising Canadian country singer-songwriter Noeline Hofmann on “American Trail” and Kentucky country band Ole 60 on “Back 40.” Listen here.

Over the past few years, Dylan Gossett has emerged as one of the biggest and brightest new stars in country music. With nearly 1.5 billion streams across his catalog to date, his breakout single “Coal” recently picked up a 2x Platinum Certification in the United States, in addition to going Gold in the U.K., Platinum in Australia, 2x Platinum in Canada, and 2x Platinum in Ireland. The song marked his first entry on the Spotify U.S. Top 200 Chart, Billboard Hot 100 Chart and U.K.

NASHVILLE, TENN. / AUSTIN, TEXAS – In a musical landscape peppered with overnight sensations and viral moments, The Droptines stand out. Their gritty new album Drought Flower is out today. The 11-track record marks the band’s full-length debut via Big Loud Texas and is the follow-up to their 2024 self-titled debut album.

The close-knit band of five honed their chops in the Texas Hill Country, building a following fan-by-fan since their formation in 2019. More than anything, Drought Flower is a snapshot in time for a group of friends figuring out life and music as they go along. A culmination of their alt trajectory leading to some of music’s most revered stages, The Droptines made their Opry debut last week. Stepping into the hallowed circle, the outfit performed “Snowed In” and “Tombstone” from the new album.

Recorded at storied Aryln Studios with production by GRAMMY® Award winner Jon Randall, Jacob Sciba and Taylor Tatsch, nine of the album’s tracks were solo written by frontman Conner Arthur. On Drought Flower, The Droptines are pursuing timelessness, while acknowledging people in their lives who enabled such a pursuit. “A Town Near You (Feat. Zandi Holup)” explores detachment from a relationship because you can’t stay in one place for too long, “Well I’m gone like a wildflower, I move on from town to town.” “Mamaw” finds them mourning the loss of a family member (with Sarah Jarosz lending her voice). The title track laments a social encounter with a strong and independent woman. “Snowed In” is a fast-paced love song for a significant other that gets straight to the point.

If the album sounds like a gesture of thanks to the significant others, sisters, mothers, grandmothers and just about every other female figure in The Droptines’ lives, Arthur says that’s by design. The album is about growth, but it’s also about honoring the people who enabled it throughout the band.

“Maturity is reflected [on Drought Flower], for sure, and intentionality,” shares Arthur. “I think the overarching theme of it is an appreciation for the women in our lives and the matriarchy that raised most of us. There are some songs about lost friends and loved ones — there still is the element of laughing to keep from crying and that dark humor — but I think a lot of it is just kind of a love letter.”

Tonight, The Droptines take the stage in Austin for their album release show. Starting next week, the band will hit the road in their repurposed silver school bus-turned-tour bus for their headlining Drought Flower Tourwhich takes the band throughout the Lone Star State and includes stops in Lexington, Ky., Washington, D.C., New York City and more. The tour follows dates sharing the stage with Whiskey Myers and Dwight Yoakam.
